It’s ok for relaxing a bit. You can’t swim here, mostly it’s a mud and very shallow. (Might be because it’s next to the mangrove) Perfect if you wanna bring your kids to see some fishes and crabs on the beach 🏝️ Do not expect much

Nice and very quiet place with only local people. Promenade along the sea under the big tropical pine trees. Mangrove forest just a few meters from the shore. Water is not suitable for swimming. Locals plays pétanque and have a Sunday picnic in the area.

Thala Beach is a long sandy beach that stretches along the east coast of Phuket Island. The shores are filled with seagrass, which is the food of dugongs. The east coast of Phuket Island is rich in mangrove forests, which are home to marine life which is an important food source for Phuket residents. The specialty of the east coast is that the sunrise is very beautiful from January to March.

Great launching spot for SUP adventures exploring the mangroves but make sure you check the tides.

Beautiful quiet place, even it is not a swimming place but can be a fun place for families and kids playing with sand or a nice walk when the tide is low.
